Tell us about your background:
I’m a designer and apparel development expert who thrives at the intersection of fashion, technology, and innovation. Over the years, I’ve designed childrenswear, private label brands, and Tommy Hilfiger licensed sportswear. My entrepreneurial mindset has been a constant through countless new brand launches, where I’ve honed my ability to create relevant, commercially successful products.
What truly drives me is collaboration. I thrive in environments that prioritize creative teamwork, where strong relationships are the foundation of great outcomes. Building these connections has been a cornerstone of my career.
A few years ago, I relocated from Brooklyn to the suburbs of Philadelphia. Since then, I’ve focused on freelance design and development projects, including an exciting dive into 3D design. I’m particularly energized by the emerging wave of technological innovation, specifically in 3D tools and AI. These advancements aren’t just changing design and development—they’re transforming every facet of the fashion industry. I’m excited to be part of this evolution, exploring ways to integrate technology to create smarter, more efficient workflows and better products.
With a strong foundation in design, a collaborative approach, and a forward-thinking mindset, I’m looking ahead to the next chapter in my career with curiosity and enthusiasm.
What do you wish you’d known when you started out?
Don’t let loyalty hold you back when it’s time to move on. Early in my career, I was fortunate to work with strong, smart women whom I considered mentors. While I gained so much from those experiences, my loyal nature and comfort in those work environments often caused me to hesitate when opportunities to move forward presented themselves. Growth sometimes requires leaving a familiar space.
Best career advice you've ever received?
Don’t be afraid to take risks. Growth happens outside your comfort zone. Whether it’s taking on new responsibilities or exploring new areas of expertise, stepping into the unknown allows you to discover your strengths, develop new skills, and unlock opportunities you didn’t know existed.
What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?
Navigating the next phase of my career after relocating to Philadelphia has been both a challenge and an opportunity. Upskilling and exploring new types of work—like integrating 3D design and emerging technologies—has stretched me beyond my previous experience. This process of reinvention has been challenging, but it’s also allowed me to explore new directions and figure out what’s next for me.
And for fun, what is your favorite wardrobe staple?
Classic pointed Chelsea boots—comfy, versatile, and effortlessly stylish.
