In Conversation with Megan Marlatt
Tell us about your background:
After 15 years, I can confidently say I'm an experienced, versatile designer who enjoys taking part in each step of the design process as well as product development. I have extensive experience working in a wide range of categories that include soft wovens, outerwear, swim, active, cut & sew knits, and sweaters. For 8 years I worked my way from Assistant Designer to Senior Designer over all categories at Juicy Couture, and then moved to smaller companies like Gigi C & Amour Vert where I took part in the creative process. From mood/concept, to fabric/trim development, to sketching, to fittings all the way thru to production. I ensure all expectations are met on-time and on-budget. I'm a highly collaborative & organized problem solver who stays focused in a world of chaos.
Bottom line - I love what I do and it shows in my work!
