Tell us about your background:

I am a transactional lawyer with a background helping clients in the beauty, wellness, apparel and lifestyle spaces build and protect a thriving brand through trademark and contracts. I help clients develop their brand protection strategy so that they can build their brand on a solid legal foundation.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

That it takes longer than you think.

Best career advice you've ever received?

Lean into the fear. Don't remember where I heard this but I love the sentiment. If you're afraid of doing something, it probably means you should do that thing.

What leadership qualities are important to you?

I'd say empathy and being able to adapt to the current environment. Leaders stuck in the "we've always done it this way" mode are detrimental to everyone around them.

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?

I started my own law firm 2 years ago, smack dab in the middle of the pandemic. I alway say its the hardest thing I've ever done but also the best.

And for fun, what is your favorite wardrobe staple?

A great pair of jeans and Tod's loafers! (sorry can't choose between the two of them!)
