I only joined a few months ago, but have already met some really wonderful professionals. I can’t wait to meet others.

What are your top networking tips for building strong connections in your industry?

Be open to meeting new people and stay in touch, follow up on the conversations and share experiences that apply.

How do you balance online networking with in-person interactions to maximize your connections?

I first schedule a zoom meeting and if theres a mutual interest with person I connected with then I generally follow with an in-person meet.

Share a piece of advice for those who may feel hesitant or shy about networking.

Have a first introduction call and see what shared interests, professional advice or career opportunities you may be able to discuss. This usually breaks the ice, maybe you know people in the same industry. If there’s a common interest you can have a zoom or a coffee. Often people are very happy to share information if it helps.
