Tell us about your background: 

I am a Woven/ Knit Designer that has worked in NY for 20+ years. My focus has been on Tailored product and I have worked for many Specialty Retailers throughout my career.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

I wish I had known that my path would not be the straight line that I envisioned. It would be a series of zigs and zags, but I would continue to move forward. To know this would have helped me understand to trust the journey.

Best career advice you've ever received?

Always be humble.

Trust, Support, Collaborative

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far? 

The biggest challenge has been finding opportunities during COVID and understanding how to compete in this environment as someone that is more Senior in experience and age.

And for fun, what is your favorite wardrobe staple?

My professional wardrobe is like a uniform. My favorite staple is a knit Lanvin blazer. It is the perfect jacket to appear polished, professional, and comfortable.
