Tell us about your background: 
Passionate about the luxury consumer - mindsets, behaviors, values, and passions, Mitali has worked across media, creative, and product marketing roles at prestige brands such as Louis Vuitton, Tommy Hilfiger, and Michael Kors and at advertising and digital agencies such as Wunderman Thompson and UM WW. She brings together an innate understanding of the product and a design thinking-led approach to insights analysis to create connections with customers. She has launched a smartwatch for GSK, the largest west coast store for Tommy Hilfiger, and the first ever AR experience for Tommy Hilfiger and has partnered with AMEX to explore Metaverse extensions to its SMB activations.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

Career trajectory is not linear and networking is not hard if you are authentic.

Best career advice you've ever received?

People are always talking about you when you are not in the room. Never ignore the impact it can make.

What leadership qualities are important to you?

Being curious.
Asking hard questions and having tough conversations.
Giving back and supporting dreams.
Letting people do what they do best.

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far? 

Getting over the work visa hurdle.
