Tell us about your background:

I'm originally from Sydney, Australia, but spent much of my late-teens/early twenties working in London and Paris for world-renown hair-stylist Guido Palau and fashion designer Alexander (Lee) McQueen. During that time, I met and worked alongside many of my fashion heroes including Raf Simons, Peter Saville, David Sims, Isabella Blow, and Dick Page.

When I returned to Australia at the ripe old age of 24, I opened a creative agency M&P, servicing high fashion & beauty brands implementing a global mindset. In 2010, M&P merged with a digital agency specializing in business design and digital transformation, and after opening a third office in the US in 2011, I sold my share of the company and made the permanent move to NYC.

In the past 11 years, I've created meaningful partnerships with the most prolific creative directors (Ruba Abu-Nimah, Ezra Petronio), brands (Pat McGrath, Shiseido, Victoria Beckham), and agencies (Chandelier Creative, Partners & Spade), and really just hope to continue to make beautiful, innovative things that move people.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

Honestly, I tend not to look back. I'm very proud of my career and my path- I try to live in the moment and appreciate all that I have, and those that surround me.

Best career advice you've ever received?

NEVER settle.

What leadership qualities are important to you?

Integrity always. I love a badass who isn't afraid to challenge someone/something, whether it's the boss or a client, if the work needs pushing or feels unethical, do your thing - speak up! True creativity is being unafraid to take risks.

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?

Finding the perfect balance between work + life, and work (profit) + creativity.

And for fun, what is your favorite wardrobe staple?

Lemaire on meeting days, and threadbare vintage sweatshirts from Scout LA on the days in-between.
