Tell us about your background:

I recently started a new role as Vice President of Communications and Operations at RAXO (creative studio & full service ad agency) and Humanified (a new app in the social justice space launching in 2021). After starting my PR business (@ebconsults) in 2015 specializing in fashion/beauty/lifestyle clients & fashion show production, my projects took a hit starting in January 2020 when I first had shows abruptly cancel (designers from China) due to COVID-19. After suffering more losses and examining my career path, I knew that fashion may continue to suffer losses and I decided to hone my skills in the marketing and digital space and look for something that is more personally rewarding.

I began to move into the creative + ad agency world over the summer, where my communications, digital and social media experience translates well. Now I get to work on something truly meaningful, launching the Humanified app next year! I am joining to share my story after pivoting this year from focusing mainly on fashion & media for the past 20 years. I started out my career in PR working for Vivienne Westwood followed by Betsey Johnson, before moving on to agencies. Prior to opening my agency EB Consults, I was the President of People’s Revolution and have also appeared (as myself) on television on the show Kell on Earth on Bravo, as well as The Hills and The City on MTV, and America’s Next Top Model.
