Tell us about your background:

A little about myself: I have 10+ years of copy/content writing experience. From mainstream brands like PVH & New York & Company to luxury labels, including Opening Ceremony, Saks.com, St John Knits, and alexanderwang, my career encompasses a breath of fashion writing experience. Currently, I'm at alexanderwang as a global copywriter for all verticals, and I'm looking to expand my career.

Outside of work, I'm partaking in a documentary on the desecration of the Jewish-German fashion industry, in which I speak about Johanna Thal, a fashion editor at the time. I'm also guest curating a fashion in film series about Picnic at Hanging Rock. Another project I've been thinking about is expanding the spectrum of fashion writing- particularly, looking at the visceral, almost world-building experience of wearing clothes.

For fun, I like to go to museums, watch films (horror in particular), learn about wine, cook, and spend time with my wife and dog.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

To be a successful copywriter, you must have even better project management skills. Writing copy is more like solving a math problem than it is about creative writing.
