In Conversation with Adele Tetangco

Tell us about your background:

My name is Adele Tetangco and I've been working in the fashion industry for over 18 years. My passion for supporting independent and up-and-coming designers as well as stores led me to co-found Garmentory — a marketplace turned community for brands and boutiques in the niche market. I've since moved on to new and exciting professional adventures. Most recently, launching:

  • Snack Size a collective of creatives offering a full scope of services for fashion + lifestyle brands to grow, survive, and thrive.

  • Et Tigre an ethical womenswear label that launched February 2019.

  • In Todo, a curated craft fair bringing visibility to the craft of BIPOC creatives in our communities.

Across the landscapes of art, apparel, beauty, food, and home, our focus is to center diversity in the space of creating, filling the gap in representation.
When I'm not travelling for work, you can find me at home in Vancouver, BC, sitting on my couch, eating McDonald’s and binge-watching something on Netflix.
