Tell us about your background:

I graduated from the University of Padua with a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Right after I interned in two world-known fashion companies in Milan, first in the Retail Merchandising team and then in the Collection Merchandising team.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

I wish I had known that no one will give you anything out of the blue; if I want something, I have to go and get it myself, especially in a competitive work environment. Oh, I also wish I'd known a lot more about Excel. ;)

Best career advice you've ever received?

Don't take anything for granted and never get tired of asking questions and being curious.

What leadership qualities are important to you?

Listening skills, empathy, mentorship, tenacity, team-player.

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?

I find it hard to make people know and understand the real me, especially at the beginning. When first meeting me, people find me extremely shy and often assume I am not particularly strong-minded or that I do not have what it takes to make it.

And for fun, what is your favorite wardrobe staple?

A great jacket. Both single and double-breasted.
