Tell us about your background:

After 13 years in the industry, my experience ranges from corporate to start up along with my own side projects. I began at Ralph Lauren in 2007 where I spent 9 years in product development. After that, I spent 2.5 years as Head of Product at an early-stage adaptable clothing/PPE brand, Care+Wear. Additionally, I have a line of accessories, stationary, and illustration that was previously sold at Henri Bendel.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

That it’s ok to diversify your roles rather than stay on a particular path.

Best career advice you've ever received?

There is no "finish line" or race to get to a certain stage or your career.

What leadership qualities are important to you?

Empathy and emotional intelligence are paramount.

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?

Transitioning into the world of clothing dedicated to healthcare. In many ways, it's similar to everyday fashion and in others, it's an entirely different ballgame with its own rules and regulations. Marrying fashion and function in this realm is very rewarding, but a challenge nonetheless.

And for fun, what is your favorite wardrobe staple?

Classic Bass loafers in fun colors.
