Tell us about your background:
I'm a brand-builder specializing in integrated marketing and social media within the Fashion and Beauty space, with a decade's experience at brands like Calvin Klein, Laura Mercier and Gilt. I grew up being absolutely obsessed with fashion magazines and the brands that advertised in them, and for this reason moved to NYC after undergrad to pursue a Fashion Marketing degree at Parsons. My start in the industry coincided with the advent of social media as the new form of advertising, so I built my career driving digital and social media consumer engagement for both established global brands and startups.

I recently created my own marketing consultancy, GL Consulting. In this next phase of my journey, I hope to leverage my passion and background at global brands to be a strategic advisor and resource to new founders as they build their dream businesses, starting at the core with brand storytelling.
