Tell us about your background:

I am an inspiring leader, with core values of integrity, a passion for excellence, and collaboration, coupled with a strong work ethic. A global operations executive with over 20 years of experience, establishing and leading operations, logistics, and supply chain functions. Having held positions with industry leaders such as Donna Karen, and Calvin Klein, and executive roles at Diane von Furstenberg, and Barneys New York, I have contributed to the bottom line through operational excellence. Most recently, I was Chief Operating Officer at TO THE MARKET, a B Corp sourcing startup company.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Merchandising, from Fashion Institute of Technology and an Executive Masters of Business Administration, Specialization in Leadership, Marketing, and Strategy from New York University, Stern School of Business. In addition, I am a member of the Fashion Institute of Technology International Trade and Marketing Advisory Board.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

Having a mentor by your side is extremely valuable. I wish I had a mentor from the beginning of my career.

Best career advice you've ever received?

Do what you love and do it well – your career is a big part of your life, and you want to enjoy what you do!

What leadership qualities are important to you?

I lead by example. I have high standards, I am driven, and a high-energy achiever. I believe in a strong open-door policy, a two-way open line of communication. I believe in the potential of everyone. I help my team to excel to the best of their abilities and grow in their careers. The importance for a leader is to inspire their people!

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?

Working remotely. I prefer in-person meetings and engaging with teammates to create a collaborative environment.

And for fun, what is your favorite wardrobe staple?

A crisp white, fitted, button-down shirt.
