Tell us about your background:

I’m a fashion editor and stylist with a career spanning a diverse range of mediums, encompassing both print and digital media, as well as notable work within the retail industry.

I began my career at Glamour Magazine as a fashion editor, styling fashion, feature and beauty stories. I made the jump to digital media, becoming the Style Director at Refinery29. Navigating the intersection of fashion and technology taught me a lot about consumer feedback and the importance of creating both inspirational and aspirational content.

Most recently, as Style Director at Madewell I concepted campaign and editorial stories, traveling the world bringing them to life.

I’m currently freelancing, collaborating with brands on everything from creative strategy and storytelling, to styling and brand identity.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

The fashion industry is all about connections and networking. Stay in touch and don't be afraid to reach out for advice or mentorship from those whose career paths you admire.

Best career advice you've ever received?

Be kind and gracious with everyone you meet, no matter their status or level; you never know where your paths might cross in the future.

What leadership qualities are important to you?

A great leader is someone who is supportive, communicative and transparent with their team. A leader should empower their team and provide opportunities for growth.

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?

Becoming a mother of 2! Holding space for career and family is an entirely different ballgame.

And for fun, what is your favorite wardrobe staple?

A slightly oversized white button down and a great pair of blue jeans.
