Tell us about your background:

My experience for the past 10+ years has been in growing new business relationships in a broad range of vertical sectors, with a decent portion of my recent experience being spent within the Beauty industry.

I’ve spent 3 years at THG ltd in the UK working with the world’s leading beauty brands across their DTC & online retail before joining the team at Accelerated analytics, supporting L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Coty, Shiseido, Johnson & Johnson, LVMH, Puig and more across their retailer sales data & analytics.

Although technology has changed the way in which both humans and businesses communicate with each other, creativity, imagination, and relationships will never be automated.

What started out as a genuine passion for brands and all things creative led to a successful career in forging meaningful ‘value add’ relationships between Beauty brands & businesses.

I pride myself on the ability to humanize complex business situations and build meaningful and lasting relationships with the most important aspect of any business – people!

Family, friends, music & memories are the key ingredients in the soundtrack to my life.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out?

Life is short and mistakes are the key ingredient to learning, stress less, try more, fail more and learn more. Enjoy the good in every single day because life is not a dress rehearsal.

Best career advice you've ever received?

Trust your gut feel, if you think you can make positive change, don't be afraid to trust your gut.

What leadership qualities are important to you?

Humility, honesty, open mindedness.

What has been the biggest challenge in your career so far?

Being honest enough with myself to make a change early in my career. I learned as soon as I started working in the financial markets after University that I had no real desire to press a career in the industry. I went against the advice of certain mentors and peers at the time and took a salary cut to move industry. So far it's paid off. Trust your gut!

And for fun, what is your favorite wardrobe staple?

I live in the UK and a solid Wool Peacoat to accompany a chunky knit through winter is probably my go-to.
