Please join us for our mentor series with Luis Fernandez, Hybrid Creative Director.

Through his multi-disciplinary CREATIVE DESIGN AGENCY, @LUISFERN5, Luis works on various design projects focusing on Architecture & Interior Design, Fashion Creative Direction & Strategy, and digital NFT/Metaverse projects. His latest Mid-Century Modern residential project was recently featured as the cover story in Elle Décor.

Luis studied architecture at Cornell University, starting his career as an architect in NYC at Kohn Pederson and Fox. At Jeffrey Hutchison + Associates, he was the Project Architect for the Barneys New York flagship stores in SF and LV, and various other luxury brand retail stores. He transitioned into fashion in 2007, co-founding NUMBER:Lab, a brand that proposed a design sensibility that blended athletic performance with tailored sportswear; pioneering the ‘ATHLESURE’ mainstream. Later as the Creative Director of CRAFT ATLANTIC, a Men’s performance luxury brand, Luis garnered noticeable press & established a core business while visioning the brand’s ethos and designing its’ concept store in NYC. At Parsons School of Design, Luis taught Thesis Studio and Design Executive Education for global retail companies.

Luis is a member of the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America).
