the co-lab Panel: Integrating DEI in the workplace with Lekeshia Angelique

Join us for a panel discussion with Lekeshia Angelique, a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Consultant for Genuine Allyship and a member of the co-lab Diversity Council.

“My mission is to empower not just Black women, but every human to have a powerful voice and an equitable seat at any table they desire to be seated at.”

Lekeshia Angelique has devoted a lifetime of experiences, academia, and professional titles to her mission. From her professional consulting services to her dutiful position as a former Army Officer in the Adjutant General (HR) Corps, Lekeshia is determined to pave the way by having tough conversations with business leaders who redefine authority into genuine allyship.

Being an ally is more than having a resilient revenue stream, empowered cultural atmospheres, and having the right number of ethnic employees - it's about changing the world and the future generations of our time.

Being an ally is more than a “feel-good hit of the summer”, it means embodying and taking action to create a seismic solution for everyday issues. It is imperative that individual leaders within the progressive workspace have fulfilling professional interactions with every color, gender, and race.

Not as a biased opinion, but as a fact of life.

All co-lab events are free to members. Zoom details will be posted on the day of the event in our private community Slack in the #theco-lab-events channel. All questions can be directed to info@jointhecolab.com. To become a member and receive access to these exciting events, join us here.
