the co-lab talk with Fleur Childs, Founder of The Artful Bachelorette

Join us for our next Kristy Hurt Community Panel as we hear from Fleur Childs, artist and founder of The Artful Bachelorette.

Kristy will interview Fleur Childs, artist and founder of The Artful Bachelorette. Following the discussion, we will end the evening with a brief demonstration of an Artful Drawing Class!

Billed as Drinks, Drawing a very handsome (and very nude) male model, The Artful Bachelorette offers private art classes designed to be a tasteful but cheeky alternative for bachelorette parties and other special occasions.

Founded in 2012, the brand now operates in 15 cities across the country, and has been featured in media outlets including The New York Times, the LA Times, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, E News!, and New York Magazine. Along the way, she also opened an “Artful Salon” experiential space in Manhattan.

Fueled primarily through word-of-mouth and earned media, Fleur is now pivoting the brand to virtual classes - providing a novel way for clients to still gather with friends and mark a special celebration together.

Please be sure to have the following materials:

1) Computer: we recommend over a phone or tablet for an optimum experience

2) A comfy place to sit, with a hard surface to draw on that is private or facing away from folks at home.

3) 6 sheets of paper, can be any size

4) Something to draw with (pencil, charcoal, sharpie, marker, pen, paint, crayons, an old lipstick, really anything)

5) Decent wifi connection & no outside noise disturbance (using headphones is recommended)

6) A drink or two of your choice

NEW: We are asking participants who are able to please donate a suggested amount of $20. For this artful event, 100% of proceeds raised will go to The Kitchen, one of New York City’s oldest nonprofit spaces, showing innovative work by emerging and established artists across disciplines. For this event please send your donation to Kristy Hurt at @Kristy-Hurt on Venmo.
